PELLETIZING
Creating pellets to test samples is one of the core duties of Carver presses — and our units are workhorses throughout the world, industry after industry. We offer a broad range of standard and custom-diameter dies for just about any application you can imagine, including:
- KBr (potassium bromide) pelletizing to for forensic testing using IR spectroscopy
- Lithium battery material testing for electric vehicles (EVs)
- Testing of powdered metals and small disc samples before full-scale steel manufacturing
- Ceramic material testing for military body armor, semiconductors and more. Ceramic powder can be heated and formed into a huge variety of shapes, exactly to the specs required for a given test.
